Content install disc forza motorsport 3

Put in Disc 1 and it should ask you to insert Disc 2 and install. That should solve your problems. Don't install from the Dashboard. Nah I've only tried to install it after being prompted by the game. All the problems I've read about are because of the dashboard thing so I'm not sure if it's a problem with my xbox or with a glitch with the game.

Jonny 12 years ago 4. When I check my harddrive, is says that all of the car packs are installed, but no additional tracks. It also shows a file at 32kb that says "corrupted". Do you have Forza 2 installed on your drive?

But you can instead choose pieces of disc 2 to install if you have limited space or a memory card. Disc 2 is broken up into four packs that act like downloadable content. If it's installed on your hard drive, then the game reads it and adds in the content seamlessly. If not, then you won't see these cars or tracks in your game and can't use them in online multiplayer.

Because the actual useful segments on disc 2 only use up 1. So in a sense that would actually be counter productive if they allowed it to work via being installed on the Dashboard. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die. OK, put Disc 1 in. It will load and a prompt will appear saying "Do you want to install Disc 2" click "Yes", wait for it to install. It will then ask to remove Disc 2 and put Disc 1 in again.

You don't install disc 2 as a full game, you just install some files into the Forza 3 folder on your hard drive, so yeah you will probably still need to install disc 2 when the game prompts you too.
